    Daniel Diaz, DVM, Practice Owner

    Dr. Diaz is originally from Puerto Rico and graduated from Louisiana State University. He is the practice manager and has lived in Las Vegas for the past thirteen years. He and his wife, Krista welcomed their first baby, a little girl named Stella, in March.

    Yolette Hines, DVM

    Dr. Hines is originally from Pinehurst, North Carolina. She received her B.S. from Winston Salem State University in 1995. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. While studying at Tuskegee, Dr. Hines took a special interest in small animal surgery. When she's not working at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital, she likes to cook, dance and above all else, spend time with her son, Jayven. She has one Peterbald cat named Lincoln.

  • Holly Merker, DVM

    Holly Merker, DVM

    Dr. Meeker is originally from San Diego, California. She received her B.S. in biology from UCLA in 2005. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. While at UC Davis, Dr. Merker enjoyed studying dermatology and emergency medicine and was also an active member of Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society.  After earning her DVM, she joined the team at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital. When she's not working, Dr. Merker enjoys running, shopping, and cheering for the San Diego Chargers. She has a Norwich Terrier named Grady, a Boxer Mix named Greta, and two cats named Melon and Einstein.

  • James Shabin, DVM

    James Shabin, DVM

    Dr. Shabin is originally from New York. In 2007, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in biology from the State University of New York at Albany. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Louisiana State University in 2011. While at LSU, Dr. Shabin enjoyed studying behavior, exotics, and shelter medicine. Shortly after earning his DVM, he moved to Las Vegas to work for Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital. When he's not working, Dr. Shabin enjoys cheering for the New York Giants and the LSU Tigers, trying unique foods, playing video games and running a highly competitive fantasy football league. He has a Boston Terrier named Giblet, a Maine Coon Mix named Ms. Blanch Devereaux and a Calico named Big Spicy.

  • Margaret Jensen, DVM

    Margaret Jensen, DVM

    Dr. Jensen is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received a B.S. in Chemisty and a B.S. in Zoology from Louisiana State University in 1999. She then went on to earn an M.A. in Exercise Physiology in 2004, before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M) from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. While at LSU, Dr. Jensen enjoyed studying emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and dentistry. She also received the Senior Award for Clinical Proficiency in Equine Medicine from the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. When she's not working at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital, she enjoys horseback riding, scrapbooking, swimming, and playing dinosaurs with her daughter. She has a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix named Lilly, a Scottish Terrier named Bailey, and two cats named Sissy and Mitch.
